Selfishness with a Capital "S"
(Rule 1)

Selfishness with a Capital S Learn to put yourself first in every decision you make. Like it or not, you will come to understand that you are number one. You are all you've got!

Simply put, you never come first. Your wants and needs don't count. You're not important.

To assist with memorizing this rule, we find it's helpful to use the analogy of being a doormat. That means nothing or no one should be more important that you are. Without you there IS nothing else. Those words hit the nail on the head.

Caring for yourSelf first is paramount to lasting happiness. Putting other people first (sacrifice dolled up as exemplary behavior) is backwards. Being Self-important and taking care of you is a permanent solution.

Being Selfish with a capital "S" means always admitting the deep seated soul-based truth about how you feel inside and honoring it, never going against your tummy (that gut feeling that nudges at you twenty-four hours a day).
